Cookie Batter

1 cup sugar
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup Mashed carrots
Add
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
Bake
350 degrees 15-20 minutes
Icing
Beat
1 tbs butter
juice and zest of 1 orange
add confection sugar until frosting is spreadable
